Thanks to all for the kind words! there is a method to the madness.
Hopefully I will be able to fairly compare these tables, I keep trying to cut the variables. Ideally I will compare each one with the same arm/cartridge. I've been using my DSD recording setup to compare tables/carts pretty well, gives me a pretty good handle on how they stack up.
Mark, love your 4-way NS-1000's, damn impressive build.

Under the Yamaha NS-1000's is a pair of of KLH model 6's, and in the dead center of the room is a Rek-O-Kut T-12 with a Master Pro M-5s Lathe attached. Not as quiet yet as the Other rek--kut or the Thorens, but has great PrAT like a Thorens 124 or a Technics SL1200/SP-10. The Fairchild is also a very engaging table, just makes you want to dance
These photos are only in the living room, my bedroom, or on the kitchen table so it's worse than you think. I didn't show you guy the massive Hammond B-3 organ speaker/amp cabinet sitting next to the kitchen table, or pair of RCA 6l6 monoblocks on the floor in the kitchen!
mmmmmm, NOS GEC KT-88 valves, well guess they aren't NOS anymore but dammn nice!!!!!! I only have singles of any GEC tube, need to build myself a SE amp and get sum lowthers
man and you should see my computer collection!, on the streets of babylon nothing is sacred, you guys have not seen prob. 5% of my greater collection of gear.
I'm about to start a blog to show the vinyl I'm spinning, so many obscure records...
