    Ok challenged excepted,im going to attempt making my own rcm.Im giving myself a budget of £150 although i think i can get it done for about £100.

    I'll start a new thread in the diy section when i start to get some parts.

    I think you can buy the KAB Nitty Gritty for that price. You have to use it with a vacuum cleaner though.

    I had a look at that but didn't seem overly impressed with it,im looking forward to making my own although im just pinching someone else's idea.

    not really,there's nothing that is potentially damaging coming into contact with the record so should be safe enough.Having said that,i'll use some of my less liked vinyl first.
