The answer's very simple: we don't have an international class recognised striker! The same deficiencies were glaringly obvious at the Euros.
If Griffo can get back to form and bang in the goals for Dundee (which I predict will happen), he'll be the answer. Scotland have missed him MASSIVELY

I'd a feeling we'd win tonight, and it could easily have been more, although we also have to thank Craig Gordon for pulling off a wonder save, which could've lost us two very valuable points.
Impatient fans and pundits need to give Clarke more time to implement his style of playing and tactics on the team - and let's not forget too, to LEARN how to manage at International level, which is a *totally* different ball game from managing the likes of Kilmarnock in the SPL!
Stick with Clarkey and we'll not go far wrong. I honestly think he'll lead us to the World Cup. It's just a pity we don't have more of a natural goal scorer up front, to convert all the chances we create (same applied in the Euros), as if so, this (way better than average) Scotland team would've achieved so much more.
