Sorry to be ruining your thread, Andre.
What is the sound difference between the MKI & MKII Diamonds? They look very much the same on the outside etc.
I've had the MKII's in the past. Thought they sounded good.

The Mk.1 were a bit brighter sounding than the Mk.2
To save me hunting in the loft for the box, I wonder which ones I've been happily using in my office for years. Sorry, can't do links, but they have silver tweeters and a wrap round (no lugs) grill. They're certainly early, but obviously not mk.1s, according to the o,p, pic. Also no writing on front.

They were cheap & those are very early ones, you can tell by the badge style on the Grills. All these Mk.1s need work om them, the Fablon type covering on the Baffle board is nearly always chipped & peeled away, But its nothing hard, The units are all face fixed anyway.
