Mr Bumphrey - great name for a teacher! Did you also have a Mrs Shufflebottom?

And yes, glass paper is the correct, less generic, term.

Just woke up! And it's another dry, sunny day in Wrexham

Warm enough too, to enjoy breakfast, al fresco, so it's time to make a frothy cappuccino, heat up some nice croissants, and look forward to the day ahead while Del is still on her summer hols and we can enjoy some time together!

No, it's a beautiful morning here, matey, Glad it's at least dry where you are! Forecast here says that rain is due around 3pm, so we'll have to get the BBQ over by then (shoulder of pork today)!

Defo true, but I haven't reached that stage yet. I wear t-shirts right up until mid-October, and sometimes beyond. Still got shorts on now!

Like you say, it's an age thing, but some folks are also naturally warm-blooded (like me), so my normal body temp is always a few deg higher than most folk's, no matter the time of year. That's why I struggle in severe heat, but can sit quite happily in rooms, with no heating on, when others would find it cold. Del [short for Dolores, btw] is the same.

Saves a lot on our heating bills!
