    Yesterday,

8oz rump steak (cooked a point) on a bed of boiled Basmati rice, with steamed vegetables (carrots, green beans, onion and brocolli). A little Dijon mustard on the side.

Washed down with a 2019 Médoc.

    An orange for desert.

Leftover chilli con carne in the fridge from Saturday, and somehow managed to have 7 red and yellow peppers in the fridge, so chilli-stuffed red pepper seemed a good idea! Except it wasn’t, the red pepper was far too sweet with the chilli con carne.

Could make a nice contrast. I'm sure I've put sultanas in something spicy.

Yeah...Green peppers would have done the trick...although I think I might have liked the sweet contrast with the savoury chili...it certainly looks ok...
