Interesting Fostex based full range speakers in Hull. They look in great condition. The drive units alone are £250 worth.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
99% sure these are RAM LS3/5a's - judging by the spring clip terminals and style of what's left of the label. Will need refinishing, but I guess these will end up with a Far Eastern collector who will be happy to pay for the restoration. Not sure how many pairs RAM made - I seem to remember reading ages ago that there were less than 10 pairs, which would make these highly desirable... Started at 99p, a bargain at the moment (£160) but won't finish that low I am sure!

“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Decent looking pair of B&W DM2 speakers, in Isleworth, West London. Proper seventies classics!

I paid £50 for my pair, but £150 today is a bit of a bargain. Actually I'm looking for something a bit smaller in size (I use the DM2As with my AV system). If anyone can advise something that sounds equally as good, but occupies less volume I would be most interested.
