My wife works with a woman who's leg swelled up and became very painful - the woman hasn't been feeling "right" for some time. dizzy/ "out of sorts".
The woman contacted her GP. who arranged an emergency appointment, was concerned that it could be a blood clot and potentially life threatening.
Hospital appointment confirmed that cholesterol levels were extremely high. MRI scan didn't show any clot in her leg but hospital suggested that she sees her GP again in order to book a scan (at the same hospital) for her foot.
Am I missing something here ?
yes, its such idiotic behaviours that cause much of the problems with the health service and other such things. scan the bloody foot while your at it ffsQuote:
