These are rather good. Excellent MM/MC phono stage, worth having it just for that. Very small, so it slots into a rack nicely.
not a bargain but I couldn't resist posting this as I was bought one for passing my 11 plus way back when. We used to use it in the car on long journeys just sat on my knees, listening to things like Slade Alive and Sheer Heart attack. Sound was probably awful and I dare say it didn't do the records much good but it entertained me and my 2 brothers.

The PS-X75 doesn't have track finding ability. He pressed one button to lift the arm and then the second to move it inwards. The deck has two buttons for arm movement so you never need to go to the effort of actually having to move it by hand! The arm moves as long as the button is held down.Quote:

They look very nice. Not sure about the Coles tweeters sounding better than the original HF2000 units though. I've used both many times and the Celestion is far sweeter and smoother. It would not be a straight swap in the IMFs as the impedances are different.Quote:

You always see crazy money being asked for that combo, I've no idea if they fetch it or not. IIRC the reviewers liked the pre-amp when in battery mode but the power amp on its own was a bit 'meh' and of average build quality. If I wanted a pre-power and had the thick end of three grand to spend I don't think that is where I would go.
Seen them a lot cheaper.
