These are rather good. Excellent MM/MC phono stage, worth having it just for that. Very small, so it slots into a rack nicely.

not a bargain but I couldn't resist posting this as I was bought one for passing my 11 plus way back when. We used to use it in the car on long journeys just sat on my knees, listening to things like Slade Alive and Sheer Heart attack. Sound was probably awful and I dare say it didn't do the records much good but it entertained me and my 2 brothers.

Somebody got a useful little pre-amp. I've had a couple pass through my hands and they sound OK. Not the absolute last word in detail, but no nasties. Can't grumble at that sort of money.

Not necessarily saying it's a bargain as in small change but a lovely higher end Sony turntable that I bet will sound great. A bitch if the electronics go wrong but this one is in stunning condition.
