Spanish type guitar with some poppy overtones, very easy listening with just enough virtuosity to keep it interesting. Moving away from 50s/60s era Blue Note post bop to easier on the ear later jazz and its offshoots.

I stumbled across this record in a turntable review, and did a bit of an investigation, turns out it is quite a well known live recording, in 'Jazz' circles anyway. I hunted around and came across a re-release on Amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003CF0X...roduct_details.
It was originally recorded in 1976, it is very well recorded and the performance is great with a feeling of being there with the band, and some great interpretations of some classic jazz numbers. it is well worth a punt if you love jazz.
