Lol, looks like I'm the only one with a wife who likes cooking (as an Italian, it was in the wedding contract;))! She finds it rather therapeutic. Plus, both of us were brought up in families who cooked fresh food from scratch. My mum was a great cook, on a par with Del, and so that's what I've always been used to.
In that respect, food is a big part of our day: what we're having for lunch and dinner, and it is planned, prepared for and very much looked forward to!:cool:
Italians LIVE to eat, not eat to live. We never see food as simply sustenance. Brits are, erm, a wee bit different...

Looks lovely Marco - something I could quite easily eat, though I have never tried Burrata before.
Approve of the Pinot Grigio. :)
