I love risotto, but I really dislike Arborio rice. I find it too pudding-like in texture; so I use long grain rice instead.

As I said before earlier in the thread, just a mid priced Villeroy & Boch plate.
You might say your plates are "just mid priced", but at nearly £64 for two, courtesy of John Lewis, they are expensive. Elegant looking, but nontheless expensive.
Not that has anything to do with the food served on them. :)
If that's what they cost it's like saying "I'm just wearing a mid priced Ralph Lauren suit". It might be mid priced in the Ralph Lauren range but not in the wider suit market.Quote:
