These were all my later Father's, I needed them recently after filling my car with fuel recently, the wrong fuel. I filled the tank with diesel, about 8 gallons, it's a petrol car.
Amazingly, the car got me home and survived, 26 year old Volvo.

I'm surprised it got you home Alex . This certainly wouldn't have worked in a new car . Years ago I borrowed ny brothers car and did the same thing . I put a couple of gallons of diesel into the tank and then had to fill the tank with petrol to dilute the diesel . Worked , but cost me a little bit more than I expected :(Quote:
