:drool: Proper car! I wouldn't even care about the fuel costs, I'd just walk to work 5 days and use this at the weekend :) And I would knock a big hole in the side of the house, put a garage door on it, and the the Jag would live in the lounge with us and we would watch telly sat in it like at a drive in cinema... sorry got a bit carried away there.
shooting brakes, estates etc are all marketing car wise. station wagons were ok, and had a main purpose associated with its name
I don't agree that it's just marketing.

Clearly not a saloon, not an estate car, not a station wagon, not a hatchback etc, it's a specific configuration and look.

that is an abomination lol... a brake was a wagon for breaking horses. a shooting break was for transporting folk and gear to hunt... i dont think the wealthy would want to go hunting in that
