also replaced the glenturret 12 2021 bottling as its damn good sherry dram one of best i can remember. not a distillery ive had for a long time
financially it was yes. i find in general an 18 shouldnt be over a ton, and hopefully a fair bit less. tbh 15 is a better buy generally as its probably aged as well as its going to without it getting too pricey.. 10 is oft just a tad young, but not always.. 12 to 16 is the sweet spot for me. but i find the deanston range very good and their 18 is a cracker and only about 80-ish... used to be late 60s to 70 notes.Quote:

Deanston 2008 oloroso cask.
Aged exclusively in oloroso casks this 12 yr old ltd ed is not cheap but is stunning.
