Anyway, hope you enjoyed it. Yeah, BP's always the dearest fuel. No idea why, but that's certainly been my experience. Texaco's not cheap either, especially the stuff I use, but as I hardly do any miles, especially now, price is a non-issue.
I put in just shy of £40, to top up the tank from just over half empty, and that'll do me for a least a month, often 6 weeks.
The station's bang in the middle of Wrexham town centre, and I've never seen it much busier, although I do go at off-peak times. However, if folks want to use supermarkets, and that keeps the station I use nice and quiet, then it suits me just fine!:eyebrows:
I also like, and very much value, the 'human touch', and being SERVED by someone with a friendly and cheery disposition, which of course is non-existent when serving yourself at the pump. It just makes the experience so much nicer, don't you think?:)
Especially when the world today is gradually being stripped of many forms of niceness - and you can enjoy these simple pleasures when you don't have to run around like a headless chicken, lol;)
