Think that is what my Waterman is, save the lacquer is more of a gunmetal colour. It was given to me by my now late parents; one of the last Christmas presents from them.
I used it at work and at home but sadly I 'lost' it about six years later. Looked everywhere, couldn't find it and thought about buying a replacement. The exact same model was no longer made and I was surprised as to the cost quality fountain pens (at least £100).
Then, approximately ten years later, whilst redecorating the main bedroom, mirabile dictu I found the pen. It had rolled under one of the bedside cabinets, which being part of the headboard, was a bit of a permanent fixture. You can well imagine my joy at being reunited with something having much sentimental value, as well as relief from the sense of guilt I felt loosing it in the first place.
Safe to say it now resides in my desk drawer and is well looked after.
