You should watch this documentary, this is much worse than I could have imagined I can see why they didn't want this broadcast.

I was going to watch the "Hand of God series" on Amazon, but after the 2 minute intro I decided not to. looks depressing and its the last thing I need tbh so on goes "Paul" ...AGAIN lol. at least it keeps you smiling;)

Sort of Barry, yes. A magnum for Schneider was the pilot episode in 67 and first book. this was remade with some changes into the screen film in 74. I love the books as well.

Whoo Hoo! Just watched the first episode of the new series of 'Justified' on Spike channel. Savage stuff. Well up to the first series standard. Great acting, great cast and straight to the point plot. Wicked!!

'We Were Soldiers' - an account of the battle of La Drang, Vietnam, 1965. Mel Gibson gives a good performance as Col Hal Moore and the battle scenes are also convincing (apart from at the very end). Surprisingly for an American film it is historically accurate, although it only recounts the first two days of the battle and so omits the disaster that happened later when a US battalion on the march blundered into an NVA (no, not that NVA ;)) main force and took a pasting.

Very watchable film and the sub plot involving the wives having to deliver telegrams to the families of those killed is a poignant counterpoint to the heroics of the battle.

currently watching "Carry on Camel".....Mustafaleque, as in must have a leak .... the oldies are always the best:doh::D
