What I have been "listening to right now" is some acts from Glastonbury (courtesy of BBC4).
First up was Seasick Steve - I've been following him since his first appearence on 'Later', when he only had 3 strings on his guitar. Subsequent success has allowed him to not only fully string his guitar, but to employ a drummer; the two of them sporting beards to rival ZZ Top! Anyway it was good 'foot-stomping blues' and merited his performing on the Pyramid stage.
Next up was Paloma Faith. Always opinionated, but at least she could sing and was a bit 'different' to her contemporaries. Sadly I found her performance was spoilt by her sexual-political rants. The only saving grace, for me, was her singing a song by the late, great Amy Winehouse.
Finally: Steel Pulse - good solid Jamacian regge from this Birmingham band. Excellent - and more than made up for Paloma Faith's performance.

Jessie Ware - I do quite like her and I've been considering buying an album but haven't yet. After hearing her on Saturday I will be buying it as soon as I get back off me jollies :) Good set, and she's just the right side of barking mad.
Orbital - really looked forward to this as it is exactly 30 years since I saw them there and was the highlight of the festival for me. And this one didn't disappoint. Concentrated on their earlier "classics", and that's fine by me.
I'll catch up on some more on iPlayer, especially Steel Pulse :)
