The block if you have one for sure. My best lead is on my Regenerator and I proved that was the very best place. Martin T's idea which I still don't fiully see the logic for, but who cares if it works !Quote:

I think I would agree about the block. I already have all my wall sockets unswitched. As already mentioned I run two mono block power amps so that's a non-starter. I rarely use cd these days as my music is now all ripped to a NAS, hence the streamer suggestion. As for my TT, it has already been suggested on a previous thread that I don't touch the weedy two-core exiting the unit, until I use an external power supply, which may be a project along with the bearing next year, as funds are tighter now that I have retired and am no longer in the trade.:violin::violin:Quote:

That's not to say you guys don't hear the things you do in your systems but in mine MCRU cable make no difference. It's still there. I don''t expect the cable to sound different and it isn't, saves a load of dosh and time.

Lots of possible variables: spur rather than ring main; fuse box rather than breakers; extensions or mains blocks being used; terrible mains bourn noise or interference etc. Every system is differently comprised and assembled; if Alan hears no difference then that's a valid finding. Hi David, you've peaked my curiosity, what the hell are special mains leads for MonoX's. I currently use a pair of Chord Co. Powerchord's plugged into an Isotek Orion 6 way which also uses a Powerchord. If you are suggesting that your leads would be an improvement may I borrow a pair so that I can put that to the test? I must say that I have never seen them mentioned on the Cyrus Unlimited forum on which I am also a member.Quote:
