"they didn't sound too good the last time I heard them" doesn't really inspire confidence... They look a bit tricky to re-foam.

Nice. Unless they've been kept somewhere damp I reckon they may be OK if he's got sound out of them, useful even without the tweeters in place. I've got the 'twin cone' version, they sound good.Quote:
