Of course blue or red LEDs would be preferable :D
Will tax disc collections go up or down in value?
(up I reckon)
Diesel car users may want to watch 'Dispatches' on C4. Just started. It apparently has major implications.
Missed it, although my old man was talking about the programme today. Interesting… Should be able to catch it in ‘On Demand' :)
Marco.
I've still got my first car: a 1959 Austin Healey Sprite (Frogeye) with a works hard top - looks better to my eye than the spridget shape. I bought it in 1982 and could never sell it. I have an original 948cc engine for it, but the one fitted at the moment is a pretty hot 1330cc A Series with twin SU carbs etc.
If it were me, I would drop a K series in a Spridget.
Probably as I have a spare lying around, but 140BHP should be more than enough in a Spridget.
The K series works well in there, but I suspect an Alfa twin cam on Webers/Dell'Ortos would be nice too - I love that engine, and I do have a spare Alfa 2 litre twin cam lying in my garage.... Don't think the Austin Healey Club would be too impressed though :-)
No, I love the 'A' Series engine. It's a gutsy little motor and you can get a lot out of it if need be and it always sounds great due to the siamesed middle exhaust ports giving it that distinct note.
Minis were my thing years ago and I modified everything. I still have photos of the head and port work I did and of the cars and vans of course.
