And what a pair of speakers they have turned out to be, a really top drawer sound from these babies. Just need to find some suitable open stands to sit them on now, thanks James... :respect:

Many thanks to Ben (Zoidburg) and Alan (Alan D) for well packaged quickly delivered excellent kit. I now have the DAC and phono stage missing from my system. Thanks for such an easy and simple transaction. Ta!
Thanks Peter (Symon) for the prompt payment for the Trichord Phono stage.
Alan.
Hi everyone
I have been buying records for some time over internet and so far I have been lucky. Dealers from Germany, France, USA, UK…no problem at all.
But last order from Scott Nangle went all wrong. Today is exactly 2 month since money for the records was taken from my account.
We have exchanged 23 e-mails. Many promises were made that the shipment will be made. I was asked again and again for confirmation of my address (I have sent my address to him 4 times). In meantime I was told that there was problem with delivery. That address was not correct.
And after few e-mails today I have received request to pay for reshipping.:steam:
Now I really don’t know what to do. I have read some bad stories on other forums (after all problems I have I started to search on the google. I wish I have done it before). It looks that I am not the only one with that kind of problems. What were your experiences with Scott Nangle? Shall I say goodbye to money?
Almost identical cases on other forums:

Hi Ales,
I’m very sorry to hear about your experience. Please leave this with me, and I’ll sort it out.
Marco.

Ales we spoke today on the phone - i was shipping a replacement order out today
sent your order by airmail & post office returned the parcel several weeks ago your address was incomplete
i will issue a full refund today even though this is not my fault as your address was incomplete
Just back from Paul Stewarts to collect a nice pair of Spendor BC1s. Great to meet you and Viv and your great collection of LPs - just as well as I forgot to bring any of my own. I did put that copy of May Blitz back didn't I
It was great chatting with you and hearing a few tales from Fleet St. It was shame that I couldn't stay a bit longer - as I was leaving your Tannoys were playing sweet music. They are an amazing sight for the uninitiated and made the Spendors look tiny :)
They really look the biz in my room so, now to hook them up and give them a good work out. Thanks again.
Simon,
You're really welcome andi'm glad the BC1s have gone to a good home :)
Thanks to Hugo (Ammonite Acoustics). Very fast delivery of Bushmaster completely flawless!
Thanks to Marco for the digital coax cable. Very quick and easy sale.
You’re welcome, matey. Enjoy :)
Marco.
Thank you Marco and thank you Scott too.
I have received money on my account today. But I will be happier with the records. I don’t know what went wrong. I wish that everything went another way. Scott has so many good vinyl records I wish to buy. But I am afraid of more cases like this one that just happened.
No problem, Ales. Always glad to help in situations such as this :)
Scott’s a good bloke and a genuine guy, no doubt about that, but IMHO, (and I think it needs saying), the methods he uses to operate his business need a little ‘fine tuning’, especially with how orders are taken from customers and then processed afterwards, to the point of delivery, where I feel the existing ‘infrastructure’ (as it were), along with stocktaking, needs some streamlining.
First of all, I’d suggest he needs to accept Paypal, as a method of payment, as that would cut out a lot of the current issues. Also, items marked as being ‘in stock’, must actually be held physically at Scott’s premises before shown to customers as such on his website. I shall be having a chat to him about all of this.
Marco.
Many thanks to Mike g for the Michell clamp, superb fast delivery. Superb bargain in A1 condition..
Sold a pair of speakers to Brian [brian2957] top bloke with a great taste in hifi... But you knew that anyway, didn't you ? :D
I detect a theme developing here... :)

Fingers crossed for you James although they appear to be as rare as hens teeth. I'm still looking for a suitable pair of stands for my 852's
There are a smashing pair of Custom Design open framed stands on ebay however the seller, who is based in Sandhurst, won't ship 'em :(
Sadly true, a Google search reveals only two pairs sold in the last two years :(
Could the stands be a job for the "AOS taxi" ? Maybe worth putting a post up... You never know :eyebrows:
Nah mines looks and sounds better than yours Dave  Seriously though many thanks to James for the bomb proof packaging and prompt delivery of an absolutely mint Pair of Monitor Audio R852 speakers. I'm listening to them as I speak and they sound fantastic. James is a true gentleman and hifi aficionado of the highest order. Deal with him in total confidence .Thank you sir :D
Big thanks to Drew DA2222 for his ever-painstaking advice and the second set of great valves I've had off him.
Many thanks to Alan D for the super fast despatch of the Mark Grant IEC Mains Cable he had on offer... :)
Pete, (Orbscure).
Thank you for the fast decision and payment.
Cheers,
Alan.
Just want to thank Jim (6L6) who very kindly had an extra Graham armboard made for me when he had a fully sorted one made for himself recently, which he then sent on to me. Item was packed well, communications were excellent. Jim is a gentleman and it was a great pleasure dealing with him - buy from him with confidence.
Regards Neil
Thank you to Martin (Macca) for the loan of and subsequent sale of two sets of NVA Soundcords. Currently doing the biz in my system
Huge thanks to Loosend (Dan) for an excellent transaction and comms too!
Totally trustworthy!
And whilst I'm at it, ta to Effem (Frank) for firstly giving up the Kavent, and packing it so securely!
big shout out to member NUFF. purchased an LP from him, packaged properly and sent signed for. perfect, decent bloke to deal with.
.....For making the purchase of the Linn Kairn very smooth and stress free. Also an all round nice guy .
Thanks and best wishes
Nick
Thanks a lot to Tom for a very nice transaction and a great musical interlude last night.
The Lenco TT is great, smooth and silent and I can't wait to give it a nice tonearm (Audio Note have been contacted).
Will post update on the deck when all done!
Huge thanks to synsei for the Klotz AC110 cables. Good service as per usual with this chap!!
:)
S.
I'm glad it reached you without being whisked away by aliens whilst in transit Shane :D I was going to use it myself until I discovered that NVA IC's work magnificently in my system, therefore there was little point hanging onto the Klotz. I received it gratis from Sovereign and I know he would have wanted it passed on in the same manner ;)
Many thanks to Ben (Crom) for the Sound Organisation Rack and for loading it into my wife's car when she collected it for me.
Cheers,
Alan
:)
Many thanks to Frank (Mido), for his warm welcome.
The Lenco in his slate plinth is dead silent and now sits conformable waiting for its pairing tonearm.
Thanks again mate, the deck will be well looked after!
pictures coming soon...
A big thank you to Martin (Bigmarty) for his Beresford Bushmaster Mk I, that I only bought from him yesterday morning and which arrived at my work this morning.
Say what you like about the Royal Mail but the Isle of Skye to Manchester in under 24 hours is pretty good going!
Cheers
Dave
A huge thank you to Mark (Ynwan), Kevin (KGH), Martin (Macca) and Brian (brian2957) for the loan of various flavours of interconnects over the last month. Without your generosity of spirit I would still be stumbling around in the dark, thank you all very much indeed ;)
Thanks to Tony (LittleTone) for the prompt dispatch of speaker cable, nice one, cheers!
Was happy to sell me his spare BMII. Great to deal with and seems like a nice fella too.
I express my gratitude publicly and whole-heartedly.
Thanks Alan !
The only problem is the sleep deprivation after staying-up all night listening to music through my re-born system:D
Thanks Les, (atumshie), for purchasing one of my Bushmaster II DAC's.
Great communications, prompt payment, a genuine member.
Enjoy the music!
Regards,
Alan
A massive thank you to Geoff (Walpurgis) for the Meridian 206 CDP. Geoff went above and beyond the call of duty to bring this over personally so I could hear it in the system before committing to the sale, not only that but he also picked up and delivered a pair of speaker stands I bought from ebay last week. An absolutely top bloke who was also very good company, thanks again Geoff :youtheman:
Thanks to Nathan ( rochacullen ) for the great deal on the AT headshell, prompt postage and well packed.
Thanks Nathan.
Nigel
PAUL STEWART
Many thanks to Paul Stewart for sorting me out with an A&R Cambridge A60 amp, a newer one in great condition. He uses a really good courier (ipost) who deliver quickly and text's to let you know what time it's being delivered (within an hour)... so there's no waiting around all day !!
Cheers, Steve
A big thanks to Scott for a quick, painless transaction for my lovely new Pro-Ject Pre Box RS.
I only ordered it earlier this week, and it's here already! :)
Thanks very much to Rich for the Creek OBH21 SE headphone amp. From my first evening's listening I'm really pleased with it - just what I was after. A very nice, easy transaction and the Creek arrived very well packaged and exactly as described. Thanks very much Rich, it was pleasure to deal with you. Perhaps see you at the NEBO.
Thanks Martin for a nice trouble free transaction. Pleased you're enjoying it.
We'd look forward to seeing you at NEBO, join in the thread and let us know what you'd like to hear or anything you'd want to bring to the party, even if that's just some music or recordings you enjoy.
All the best.
