Well, Mike, it is undoubtedly a genuine bargain... I'd fit a Jelco SA-750 to it, as it would be an ideal aesthetic match as well as sound superb, and depending on budget, a DL-103 cartridge, or one of the better Nagaoka MMs. That would make a true giant-killing T/T! :)Quote:

I know the guy selling the kenwood - almost worth buying it off him just to see his hifi if you do a local pickup.
I thought they tended to go for less than that on ebay - not perceived as being of the quality Marco asserts - although I'm sure he's correct.

Trust me, the Kenwood is quality (and looks in great nick, too)! Fit a decent arm and cartridge (as I outlined), and it would compete, sonically, with modern T/Ts up to about £2k - no joke! :)
