Yes Martins beasts go a bit deeper than mine, its swings and roundabouts at this level

Yes, it's subjectively deeper, but there is a large distortion component in there. I'll trade a little depth for better accuracy. I understand why people like the bass from big box speakers though.

Martin controls that very well but uses room treatment to help. One of the most non boxed sounds I heard
