You could install them on the ground. God knows your garden is big enough. That's what I would do, I think they look pig-ugly on the roof.

Not at all... I don't need to though, as I'm still in a t-shirt and shorts. I don't start to feel proper cold until there''s snow or ice outside.

Agree on the looks, but don't fancy the upheaval of installing them on the ground.

Yeah, I really don't know what would be involved there. Not something I'd want. But having installed many roof-mounted systems, I can say their positioning is almost always a compromise, whereas on the ground the exact pitch and orientation of the array is achievable.

Cool outside at the moment. I'm hoping the patchy cloud will clear as apparently it's due to be pretty warm later.

13C with a some hazy cloud. Expected to reach 24C this afternoon.

Misty here but set to be warm and sunny. High of 22C.

15c and dry at the moment .
