I think a lot of us were flabbergasted when King (kcc123) joined AoS and then proceeded to show us all a succession of dribble-worthy kit, displayed with immaculate photography.
How about if we all take another squint at his first post from May 2009 - it was Thread Number 2889.
Be sure to set aside some time to enjoy and do justice to this thread - there are many, many photos over 15 or 16 pages.

Well, the DIY album covers seemed to go down better this time than they did first time around - especially for Mark, who now seems addicted & destined to spend the rest of his life in a graphic artists studio since having a go.

Here's a little thread from December 2008 about damping the glass envelopes of valves. It was Mark (Audiocom) who started it & I appear to have finished it with a question that was never answered. I was just thinking that we have quite a few folks here who're fairly new to valves and they may not have tried these - maybe a bit of discussion on the matter will help them to ponder over the pro's & con's.
