I firmly believe its the same amplifier, check that stain spot on the top of the transformer... Note this honest seller states "fault on mains transformer primary"

having owned many vintage Celestions, I reckon it's glue overlap. Celestion were a bit slap happy back then and not too concerned with cosmetics. The brown deposit around the bass cones is glue too. As it's old, hard and probably oxidised, I think you'll find it scrapes off fairly easily.Quote:
