Pics from my last shuttle mission.
This was taken at a recent visit to the amazing Kennedy Space Centre. We laughed so hard at this photo I had to buy it.
I'm sure there's an appropriate caption somewhere in me, but I think discretion is the better part of valour here:lol:
You look like you just had a shit in your space suit. :-)
Hehehe...
Couldn't stop laughing at this as I thought I looked like this guy

Classic. You obviously have 'The Right Stuff' Rich :)
I still don't believe they went to the moon though but that's a whole other thread Agree with you on that Rich
You couldnt keep something like that a secret.:)
You just need to look through this lot-
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thir..._Moon_landings
There is no possible way it could have been faked and have remained a secret all this time.
As it says in there, there were around 400,000 people in total involved with the Apollo programme. That many people and no leaked proof of fakery speaks for itself.
Nice one Anto.
The US Govt would have assessed every scenario and realised that future technology would show up any fakery. As is the case with the 911 conspiracy theorists who say it was staged. Bollocks was it! Every argument saying that has been discredited. I've a mate who believes all the 'conspiracy theory' crap on the net. I despair!!
Me? I'm still waiting for 'The Second Coming'. As if. (sorry to the religious. Maybe)
I don't know about 'Foo' in Hi-Fi, but there's plenty about in every day life. Mainly for the easily led with over active imaginations I'd say.
What's rod of god got to do with the moon landings?
The question was asked Ali why anybody would build a rocket if not to go to the moon. I'm just suggesting there's plenty of reasons to build a rocket, far more compelling than going to the moon.
Well yes, but I believe that was in reference to the Saturn 5 in particular. Did you have a look at it over there?
Amazing machine!
doubt that technology was available at that time anyways ... I dont doubt that there are people in the us service that could make plans for all the conspiricy theorys to happen but actually making a plan happen and keeping it secret is nigh on impossible even in a closed state like the former USSR far less the USA. Hell, they couldnt keep anything like that secret, especially in those times....far less carry it out(aka the bay of pigs):)
sells books though
Indeed. And why fake it NINE times? Makes no sense..
The so-called Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) used a real time operating system, which enabled astronauts to enter simple commands by typing in pairs of nouns and verbs, to control the spacecraft. It was more basic than the electronics in modern toasters that have computer controlled stop/start/defrost buttons. It had approximately 64Kbyte of memory and operated at 0.043MHz.
Look, am not having it ok and that's that.
Don't even get me going on 9/11....
When we were at Kennedy my wife had her smartphone in her hand, taking pics and posting things to social media. I pointed out to her as we were standing next to a command module how little processing power they had compared to what she was holding. Its mind-blowing all the same.
I'm a fan of the conspiracy theory that says all the conspiracy theories were started by the U.S Federal government to make them appear omnipotent.
Instead of incompetent which is what they really are. Along with most other governments.
Another take on Moon fakery (or not)...here comes the science bit.

Dodgy character at best, have a look at what else he's done on the net..
Have a look here-

Yes yes , all this kneeling down on grassy knolls has got my knees wet!!
I shall select a picture of me and an old cow later on
Very good Grant
The old cow wouldn't stand still long enough for a good selfie last night so I will grab one tonight
Well, here's what I look like in Summer 2016. http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/t...psqt7ohgwc.jpg

He's inhaling the sweet aroma from his last botty burp, and enjoying the gentle aromatic infusion of the various 'flavours'... :eyebrows:
Marco.
Scary sight first thing in morning.;)

I'm not often seen out in daylight
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...psqurkmqi2.jpg
now you see why
Looks like the one on the left is wearing Brucie's syrup.
Very good !!! To be fair , they are not old cows ,but youngish ones actually . The left one is a Guernsey cross , the middle one is a swedish red cross and the left one ,slightly out of picture is a Brown Swiss.
I am sure my other half would have my vitals in a slip knot is she knew she had been referred to ,as an 'Old Cow':eyebrows:
I was actually on the chimney stack when that pic was taken ,fitting a pot cowling which was a complete waste of money!!!
Would you ever consider giving up farming and doing something else?
