My partner is African, so is used to the stronger Guinness brewed in Nigeria. Guinness does not travel well, which is why it is brewed in other locals.Quote:

I believe the different taste is more down to the water used rather than anything else.
I wish I liked Guinness: it's a lovely looking pint, but I find it too dry for my taste. Pity!
