Curries and Chinese takeaways are not that important to me - I much prefer to eat the respective cuisine in a good restaurant (and preferably where the locals eat).
The wine was what was to hand, and left over from 'our' granddaughter's 21st birthday celebration yesterday. A Chianti would have been better - maybe next time.
Ah - congrats on the 21st. Hope you all had a nice day:)
Yes, uncork a Chianti next time!;)
As for curries and Chinese, I agree, but I need a bit of spice/Asian flavours in my life on a regular basis, and can't eat the same food all the time (European/British), as I'd get bored.
Therefore, if Del's not making it herself (as we always keep the necessary authentic ingredients in stock, sourced from Asian supermarkets), I like to have some Chinese or Indian food, to break up the 'monotony' of the former.
Indeed, one of the first cravings I have, and where I head for, after a 3-week summer holiday in Europe, eating a similar style of food, is the local curry house, to get my SPICE hit, yeah man!:peace:
Marco.
Yeah, I believe it was originally introduced as a health drink:)

Lol - whatever works, mate:D

Last night Puppy may have eaten one of my wife's diamond stud earrings.
I have saved all the puppy poo today, so when Fliss came in this evening (with a sieve), I said "Oh that will be handy, I've saved the poo for you".
I got one of those looks that tells me it is my duty/responsibility to search for the stud.
Just going though the motions tonight then? :D
have to say, if she wants em, she can look for them;)
Ha - could you imagine if I told Del that?:uhho::door:
'WANT my diamond, so SORT IT.... NOW!!'
Marco.
'Inside every bag of shite there's a spark of gold. It may just be the wrapper off a Caramac but it's there nonetheless.'

Diamond update:
Fliss sorted through two days worth of puppy poo this morning - no sign of the stud.
This afternoon, the stud was found on the floor under the chaise :)
I was so relieved that puppy hadn't swallowed it, Fliss has mixed feelings about the episode
good the dog didnt swallow em.. could have cut her up
had a dream last night - went into the post office to get a first class stamp and a Twix.
Richard Hammond was behind the counter. I said to him this must be a bit of a come-down for you, working in a post office. He said yes, it is bit.
He then proceeded to charge me the wrong amount and got confused over the change.
I thought he must be filming but I couldn't see any cameras and there was no sign of Clarkson or May.
He probably charged you the right amount, it just seemed expensive. A first class stamp and a Twix aren’t what they were in the 90s but I suppose that was 30 years ago now. I picked up a packet of Polo mints in the garage a couple of years ago and they were something like 75p, couldn’t believe it, used to be 15p
Nope a shirt and a waistcoat.
I'm pretty sure I don't have a thing for Richard Hammond but then I'm pretty sure I don't have a thing for the post office so why I'd dream about either is anyone's guess.
Might just be my subconscious telling me I want a Twix.
Pretty typical of dreams though isn't it? I mean it could populate the dream with anyone, a young Gina Lollobrigida for example. But no, I get Richard Hammond.
Lucky bags were always crap, major disappointment for percentage of pocket money laid out :steam:
a teenager lucky bag that would be :)
Lol, of course... That's the only time I bought them. Best way though, to pop your cherry early and get some good experience!:D
Marco.
there's nothing for YOU here
And definitely no MILFs.
I've known some........................ and I did! :D
Haha - me, too! Best way for a lad to learn the wicked ways of the world:eyebrows:;)
Marco.
Quality... Now if she could fire that out her front end, with a couple of ping-pong balls, she'd be my kinda gal!

One should always lose one's virginity to an older 'partner'. It didn't happen in my case, but it did with my (now ex-) wife: not a particularly enjoyable experience if I remember.
