Both titles are rubbish but the film's not bad.

I watched 'Gravity' on BBC2 last night. The special effects were superb and the story-line plausable - something similar will surely happen in the future.

Not often you see a film with only two actors in it.

Yes - George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. Good acting from both of them, especially Bullock.

Blade Runner 2049 on BBC3.

A sequel to Blade Runner, but set so far in the future and so much has happened in the intervening period, that it is difficult to follow the plot.

I have it on DVD, and it is only by watching the 'extras' that it makes any sense.

The CGI character Baloo is so large and furry, he took almost five hours of rendering time per frame.

All the locations in the movie are computer generated visual effects. The story may have been set primarily in India, but the movie was completely shot at Los Angeles Center Studios in Los Angeles, California.

A scene where Baloo scratches his back on a tree, mimicking a famous scene in The Jungle Book (1967), was filmed and appeared in some trailers. However, this scene is not in the final cut.

I'm not normally a fan of any kind of animated film, but this was really outstanding and one I could watch again and again.

You're really getting into the Christmas spirit quite early, but then you don't bother with regular TV so you won't get to see all the Christmas ads which will begin in approx 2 weeks. Lucky you :)
