Lots of stuff on the US PBS channel, mostly Ken Burns, whose voice can become annoying after a while. 'The War' is fantastic, about the US experience in WW2, centred around 4 US towns, and the war in Europe and the Pacific of course.

I like his series on the US Civil and Vietnam wars, I didn't know much about the wars before I watched them.
Jazz looks good too but I'm not sure I need it drawn out as long as the war ones.

The Jungle Book, 2016... Superb retelling of this story. filmwork is astounding.
The CGI character Baloo is so large and furry, he took almost five hours of rendering time per frame.
All the locations in the movie are computer generated visual effects. The story may have been set primarily in India, but the movie was completely shot at Los Angeles Center Studios in Los Angeles, California.
A scene where Baloo scratches his back on a tree, mimicking a famous scene in The Jungle Book (1967), was filmed and appeared in some trailers. However, this scene is not in the final cut.
