They look a bit rough & ready to me Stephen and that seller certainly knows how to fill a page with waffle. I agree with Andr'e about the bass driver.

Well yes that's what I was thinking. Perhaps the Danes were ahead of everyone!
You're right, they do look a bit rough Geoff. Still like them!
My fav Scandinavian speekarse have to be the Tandberg 'Fassett'
Not on absolute sound quality terms Geoff, i just use a pair of cream 'Fassett's' with the computer :eyebrows:
Best computer (mutimedia) speakers I've heard anywhere are my TDK S60 units. A little tubular sub with NXT mini panels. Sounds amazing.
Pair of DM4's that might go cheap.... I've asked & the seller is willing to pack them for the buyer to arrange a courier if needed.

£56...did you win 'em?
Apparently these are the 'Worlds Finest Loudspeaker'. ;)
Quite an amusing description as you might expect ...

The seller has been trying to sell these for months
Just saw a auction for a pair of Tannoy 632, what are your take on these lads? :?
Very good budget amp if it stays at £50.... I used to have one with the same dodgy direct button, just needed switch cleaner !

Worth a watch http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-YA...item51ae8cd0c8
Its listed in tuners instead of amplifiers & the seller hasn't got a Scooby Doo how to test it...
Early Rega Ela speakers. Love the tuneful bass out of them !!

Would these be worth a punt?

Bang & Olufsen 5700 speakers (mini Ditton 66s) at a bargain price.
These were designed for B&O by Celestion and use superb drive units!

What a load of crap!
Old Amsturd speakers described as "rare collectable", never mind the total misuse of the term 'Hi-Fi'.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Am...item257f612028
Here's one of Hi-Fi's forgotten heroes.
Leak 2060 speakers, a bit like having a pair of Yamaha NS-1000s on the cheap. These Leaks have quite a bit in common with the Yamahas. Powerful, tight bass, plenty of detail, nice mid and top. OK the Yams are better, but the Leaks are pretty good.

these look interesting and cheap at the mo, anyone live in Bristol who wants to bring then to Sussex for me :eyebrows:

Lowther TP1 speakers, now listed for the third time. I wonder if the listing will end abruptly again with no explanation.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wonderful-...item1c340c6b5e
Bidding is up to £1353 at the moment with approx two and a half days to go.
Sequerra speakers. Never seen these before. Sequerra made some pretty stunning gear at one time, wonder what these are like.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2811279889...84.m1423.l2649
Interesting speakers the Sequerras. Not heard them but, as I recall, you bought the little main speakers and could then add a pair of subwoofers and/or the supertweeters as the mood took you. Shame there's only one tweeter unit - I imagine finding another would be something of a challenge.
Not to say impossible, not even in the States possibly. :(
Nice Meridian 206. Looks in good shape!!

Isn't mine but always fancied one as it's a handsome beast ( from the front , looks like an electricity substation from the side ) and I think you can arc weld with them too
There's a cheaper ( at the moment ) one on there too
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2212445449...=p5197.c0.m619
IIRC Jerry used to have one... Memory is a bit fuzzy though
That made me think of the bill burr sketch where he talks about wanting to punch the muffins at a village show ,.... Drifted into a day dream about staggering over to a hipster in Starbucks and dropping the amp onto their helpless iPod and walking off chuntering about how they probably couldn't lift the mark 1 Sony Walkman # the four Yorkshiremen
I know it's not an eBay link but ... How cheap?

"RECOLLIMATING" - Whats that then ?
This Pioneer amp looks the business - nice topless pic.
But I never understand why people want to take their gear outside to take photos, especially if you are going to take the lid off ... Do they live in dungeons where there is no light?
