Haha - that's funny! Might explain why she's so 'close' to her girly pals [the mind boggles]:D
Seriously though, I'm really only having a larf. Like you say, I'm not without faults, and I know there are small things I do that annoy her, which we have a laugh about (gently ribbing each other has always been part of our relationship), and I'm largely doing the same here, with her tendency for untidiness - and giving you lot a giggle in the process. We should start a new thread entitled 'Moans about your partner', and see what others have to put up with!:eyebrows:
Marco.
 Did I read your second paragraph right? Does she monitor your posts? She really needs to.
Oh and I have no moans about my partner, she's perfect. She's my soul mate. She's reading over my shoulder. Oh great, she's gone now, time to dish the dirt before the laptop battery dies. For starters she's alwa
Lol - honestly, it was HER idea to have the facility to do that, and one of the reasons why she *wanted* a separate dressing room, not just for privacy, but so she had more room to store and properly arrange her stuff, particularly to help her get ready for work quickly on dark winter mornings.
Therefore, the idea was for things she uses daily, such as underwear, to be easily accessible (colour and style order), so she could throw things on quickly if she slept in, without having to search for stuff... However, it seems to be a case of 'best laid plans', as I think she's decided it's just too much effort!:D

my daughter was and probably can still be messy like that but she did a tidy every week.I had a proclivity for being tidy when i ran house outwith daughters room. I washed ironed and hung up everything. Rarely do it now tho. probably as nobody sees me.
got if from gran i guess who if she was puting out a rag into the bin, whould wash and iron it first...honest..
also on new years eve everything in house had to be washed including the coal
I'm with Del. I arrange my shirts in order of colour, from white through to black with a graduation via grey, blue, green, pink and purple.
I don't care if people think I have OCD - I know I do. For example when I put a CD back in its case, I always rotate the disc so the lettering is aligned with the top edge. I would do it with vinyl records but that is more difficult to do.
I also arrange all tins, jars and bottles so the labels are at the front; not only those in the kitchen but in the bathroom as well. :D
Quite right, Barry. Tidy and organised is the one:thumbsup: OCD is rather different, though. I'm not OCD, and I don't think Del really is, but in certain circumstances she likes everything in its right place (such as anything to do with the kitchen or cooking), but clothes, nah!
Or rather I should say, she *purports* to want to have things tidy and in their place, but when it comes down to it, just doesn't quite happen:D
Marco.
:lol::lol:
Tell me about it, mate! There's even a mini-fridge in there, filled with half-bottles of Prosecco [I kid you not], so her pals and her, when the room eventually gets its 'official opening' (with a sleepover party) don't have to go to the fridge in the kitchen next door in various states of undress!!
Marco.
I tried to arrange my ties in some semblance of order but have failed completely in that regard, as I have with socks, underpants and handkerchiefs.
The above is not too much of a problem, but when it come to the kitchen "a place for everything and everything in its place" is very important to me. When I'm in the middle of cooking I don't want to be searching around for a particular pot, pan or implement. :steam:

yeah the coal thing was to give prosperity... ie you had coal to burn
A converted spare room, mate. It's still a 'spare room', as such, as it has a bed in it, but it's mainly used now as her dressing room - and of course it's pink! So if you come down to visit, you'll have to get with Barbie vibe:lol::D
I know you quite like that, though:eyebrows:
Marco.
hell no, i'd get excited:ner:
as i have difficutly getting into the low cupboards i leave everything out.. thus its chaotic...
Yeah, but in your case that's fine. I'd be doing the same:)
She doesn't have that excuse, though... Hey, maybe when lockdown's over and her pals visit, they'll use that time to tidy the room?
Marco.
.........................AYE RIGHT!!!!
:laugh::laugh:
Marco.
her pals will maybe enjoy the room. if i was you id leave em to it and go to dads.:D
I think they will, they're similar to her and mostly younger, too. As for going to my dad's, when it happens, I won't get the choice!:D
So would it be bad form then to hide a phone and secretly film the 'events'?
Marco.
Ha, fun idea, but one that is prone to biting you in the ass.:guns:
Nah, would I do that? That would be proper pervy!;)
Marco.
some things are better not knowing mate.. trust me :eyebrows:
Lol, you're probably right. Let them have their little secrets:)
Marco.
Hahaha - now that would be hilarious, or for me, most likely not!:eek: Probably would get my 'jotters', lol... Don't you think?
It wouldn't have been my phone though, but her old one, which still works and she keeps as a spare. I'm sure I could work out how to record a video, or even just the sounds (lol) - as they say, where there's a will there's a way:eyebrows:
Joking aside though, there's NO way I'd ever do that, as it would be nasty and also a gross infringement of her privacy. As they say, girls just wanna have fun, and that doesn't always have to involve us.
Marco.
Just seen a news report that British lorry drivers are having ham sandwiches confiscated at the Dutch border (importation of meat products not allowed from non EU countries).
Fair enough, but I do hope that we will be doing the same to drivers coming in to the UK (somehow I doubt it)
cooking ham kills the viruses like foot and mouth
I don't eat ham.
Sticklers for the rules and regs though, yer Dutch.
One time flying back through Schiphol I was stopped by 2 coppers who insisted that I could not get on the flight as I had a keyring that looked like a bullet. The keyring was already on the keys I was handed when I'd bought the house and I'd flown all over the world with it, no issues. They insisted that I had to take it off and leave it with them if I wanted to fly. Completely ridiculous.
What use is a bullet without a gun? Did they think you might poke someone in the eye with it, or fill it with drugs and shove it up yer jacksie? Daftees...:D
