They sounded horrible. A real 'squawk' to them, badly coloured. But the the drivers were coloured anyway due to the enclosing slotted box chassis and using these small 'pottery' enclosures just aggravated things.Quote:

This seller has obviously got fed up. I've seen this pair listed numerous times. As you say they can't be that bad. They use a version of the Tannoy/Goodmans Imagio DCT driver, which usually sounds OK.Quote:

The single driver 100s. I thought they had a purer sound to the larger systems with multiple drivers. I tried them alongside a pair of Tannoy i6 units I'd put into larger cabinets and the Imagios unfortunately did not really compete. It's the correct B&O cabinet for my beloved 8000 system, it's the only one I've seen in about 18 months of looking and it's a good price.
The downside is a 450 mile round trip to pick it up and a fuel cost of around £150, thanks to my big tank that does 17mpg. And no, hiring a small van that's more economical is no cheaper!
