I used to be able to consciously steer dreams in directions whilst asleep. I could also wake up and then go back to sleep and rejoin the dream I'd been having. I had tremendous mental control back then and could also control my heartbeat rate. Steering through the random action of the subconscious is another neat trick. I can still do that one occasionally, but not the others anymore.Quote:

I've got dentist today
I don't have a problem with seeing the dentist. This time apparently I need some fillings redoing. If possible I will have them done with no anesthetic which is what I normally do... it makes me cry with pain but at least I can talk afterwards without dribbling :lol:
That’s rather amazing! Some dreams I’m in then, and others, I’m only watching it. The one last night I was only watching, I was not a character in the dream at all. But I can’t say I’ve ever been conscious enough to steer it. Although, I have gone back to sleep and picked up where it left off. And one dream, I was up about 30 minutes, and went back to sleep, and picked up in the dream 30 minutes later, like it had kept going while I was awake?Quote:
