£12 and does 21 washes. Tesco also have normal size pods packs which do 51 washes (which would be 25 and a half 'big' washes) for the same 12 quid. Even using someone as likeable as Peter Crouch to promote them can't convince me this isn't a load of bollox.

Those big pods are supposed to be the equivalent of two 'normal' pods. But then when would you put two of the small pods in your washing machine?

It's just like the BOGOFs; usually the one you get for free will have deteriorated before use.

It's all cynical supermarket policy to get you to spend money unnecessarily.

I just buy the cheapest ones. Which looks like 'Surf' on that site anyway - £6 for £26 - I mean, soap is soap.

With Aerial you're paying for Crouchy's new Bentley Intercontinental and possibly a Lincoln Navigator for Abbey to do the school run in.

I've started shopping in Lidl god help me. My extensive survey indicates that they have the cheapest cheese. Even cheaper than the market.

Cheapest bread too as long as you don't mind brown with seeds.

Not tried the Aldi but that's about a three mile round trip.

I don't mind brown bread with seeds at all. And I had Lidl cheese on toast earlier this week, very nice it was too. I also had Lidl's Chicken Kievs (or should that be Kyivs?), and I'll be having them again :)
