Casio’s first automatic.

quite like that one.
Yes, me too, I need more green! Wearing the black Invicta today which I have already posted, same the past few days, it has been ones you have already seen, so I guess I need to buy more watches! :D
Just watched a couple of videos on YouTube, unfortunately not sure how to copy a YouTube link, the site is called Rob the American, what was interesting for me was that he was visiting a Glasgow watch store, which I have been in a couple times, and he was in Glasgow for the Glasgow Watch Show, who knew we had a Watch show.
Don't watch many Youtube watch 'expert' videos, some are just plain boring and often don't know what they're talking about.
Three I do watch -
Urban Gentry - TGV(?) who presents goes into the history and origins of marques he likes and makes it interesting.
Just One More Watch - Jody mainly reviews watches from Ali Express with some esoteric pieces thrown in.
Mad Watch Collector - Russell's a bit of an acquired taste but reviews are short and sweet and the 'what my wife thinks' feature is amusing.

Roy,
Ever came across this watch enthusiast? He is quite a character.

I'm doing ok, Roy.
I discovered Brendan only 8 months ago. Find him to be quite oddly entertaining, and can be a right grumpy sod on livestreams.
That speedy watch he sold to one of his subscribers was filmed at some restaurant/café. Bit crazy, lol. It was uploaded a week ago.

The dial is far too 'messy' - I can't see the point in having a window showing the mechanism if it obscures the smaller dials. But that's just my opinion.
I'm not a big fan of "open heart" watches, but do like a full "skeleton" which doesn't make much sense, really!
Yesterday I managed to get my jacket sleeve caught in a rotary wire brush I was using with an electric drill, which then pulled it into contact with my skin on my left wrist and hand - not particularly bad, but a bit sore, so I won't be wearing a watch for a few days! I really should be banned from any DIY activity, as either something gets broken or I get broken!
When using any power tools I always roll up my sleeves, and if using a rotary wire brush will wear goggles as well. Luckily you were sensible enough to have removed your watch, otherwise that would have been badly scratched as well.
Trust the scratches on you wrist heal very soon. Take care: we need to read about what you are up to!
Sounds like a sore one Alex.

Not too sore to wear the Dreyfuss today for a client visit, doesn’t get worn much but was 40th birthday pressie from wife so want to keep it nice - so away from any DIY!

That's more like it - all you need from a watch. What is the make - Benchmsrk?
Just done a bit of Googling, and it seems the most likely manufacturer is the British watchmaker Vertex, who use the MoD 'benchmark' symbol to identify their watches.
I have to say I like the look of it very much.
Not sure where this one came from? Think it’s probably from Ali Express.
One of my many citizens today.

Like the Citizen very much, Roy!
Nothing new recently, wearing the Nautilus copy again today - best £15 I ever spent!
(Copied the photo from last time - the date is correct!)

Nice one, I like it. If I drove a Mercedes car I would definitely wear one! :D
Better in Tiffany blue?

Yes, that's a bit better. :)
What are your thoughts on the latest (?) idea of using natural stone slices for the watch dial: such as slate; malachite; onyx; lapis lazuli etc. ?Rolex have started to offer this horological affectation to their customers. :hmm:
I've got one of those. Lovely watch, keeps perfect time and never given any trouble until a couple of months ago when it started to work erratically. Probably needs a battery.,
I like those oil ones it's a shame they're so expensive.
It’s an automatic so won’t need a battery, maybe needs a service?

Weren't you wearing that watch a couple of days ago? With over 100 watches at your disposal, that allows a repeat once a fortnight. :D
