Yes, I love that Sony pre-amp, one of the best things I ever bought and I've had a lot of kit over the years.

I like the look of the R10 (especially if it was available in black), not only for the balanced outputs, but for the BNC digital input (though it is not clear if it is actually a 75 Ohm version).

From memory, I think Marco uses a Sony R1 DAC in his system.

I love how overbuilt that stuff was/is. I have learned that a lot of great Japanese gear never made it over to the US. I have also often considered getting a 120V to 100V converter... ...and going shopping many times. It is somewhat similar to when I discovered UK and Japanese jazz that was apparently going on at the same time US jazz was happening but we didn't hear about it because (so it seems to me) the powers that be kept us living in a bubble. I digress.

You can see it's already had the bin over and spread the contents across the drive so you're going to have a mess to clean up when you get back regardless. Might as well just let the bloody thing eat what it wants out of it now, there's nothing more to prevent.

You can bet Trump had zero to do with any of those decisions, because he barely has a clue what goes on in the WHite house, not even reading basic memos, he had to have everything explainded to him, and then of course there was the turnover of staff, an absolute embarrassment to the highest office in the land, and the leader of the free world, God help you and us if he gets in again, expect some serious attacks on democracy.

Here is where we will have to agree to disagree. I live here. I no longer give any credence to mainstream media talking points. I know intimately the difference between life under Trump and life under Biden (not to mention Bush, Obama, etc.). Factually and objectively there is no contest nor comparison. Neither America nor the world will benefit from the unnominated Kamala (if they let her actually run for the general election) or any other thrown in uniparty stand-in.. Cheers.

Unnominated? If you care about democracy, then why on earth support Trump, I'm absolutely baffled why Americans can't see him for what he is, a shabby autocrat, I mean how can you still respect him after he told his supporters to march on Capitol hill, and how he contested completely fair election results, his lack of respect for the press. I'd say you're sleepwalking into an autocratic nightmare, but its so blatantly obvious that its screaming into your faces.
