No. But I've contacted the RSPCT. ;)

Possibly the bass unit surrounds rotted, tweeters salvaged and some other bass units in the large cabinets.

I fear that they may have belonged to this evil butcher:

That's most likely. The 295 8 had foam surrounds that rotted pretty fast, unlike the 295 A which has rubber roll surrounds and seem to last indefinitely.
Shame really. They could have been repaired easily enough. I just happen to have a box in this room containing two ten inch paper Tannoy cones with rubber surrounds that would have gone straight in :).
Are they now Dual Eccentrics!
How ferking much!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-E-Sugden...gAAOSwvg9XZSRR

These are similar to mine. just slight different magnet housing. think paper driver is same
Lovely vintage Pioneer PL-61 heavyweight belt drive turntable, fitted with an Audio Technica AT-1010 arm. In London, a bargain at £200.

I've got one of these. The motor/turntable section is a great bit of engineering. Like a belt drive 401 equivalent.
Oh for crying out loud!! These Sugden poweramps are not rare. They are very common!!

Soooo many listings have keywords like "RARE" and "RETRO", amusing thing is you can always find a few of the same on eBay.

This Croft pre amp looks to be a bit of a bargain at the mo.
Lots of bids though, so it may go daft later...
There's these Sonab OA5 Type ii - Omnidirectional Loudspeakers at just £75 and a Linx Nebula Integrated Amplifier from the same seller. I'm not familiar with the amp, but looks good for £55.
Dali Zensor 1 today in another charity...
Got to stop....but they were cheap enough to make a profit if i sell them on....
yep,imo it just lacks the last 10% of the sondeck even with the 774 and mp-500 fitted.
i dont need 2 turntables so its gotta go,it been fun though :)

[QUOTE=jamie123;768061]i dont need 2 turntables /QUOTE]
Oi, quiet. I'm currently working on the justification to add a Michell Hydraulic alongside the Spacedeck. You'll ruin all my hard work!
[QUOTE=Virtual-Symmetry;768122]I don't know. I've had it for over 25 years. I'm quite tempted to get a heavy kit for it...
I've not yet heard anything that beats the Spacedeck (and that was with the original arm - the Ace Space takes it to another level) and I've compared it to a Townshend Rock, an LP 12 and a PT Too.
But I do love the Michell.
If anybody wishes to know, the collection is: Two Toshiba SR-370s, four Goldring Lenco GL75s, one Goldring Lenco GL68, one Connoisseur BD1, one Pioneer PL-61, one Pioneer PL-15S.
Seems I was out by one. The total is ten. Some are in bits though. Now which should I keep? that's the question. :hmm:
You only need two max tbh. Maybe with 1 to work on. Say me with 5 sets of speakers
Well im using one set and building one of the sets so 3 doing nowt at moment....plus 2 sets of testers in shed. Have 7 amps too...doh. Theyve been breeding. But only 4 cd players
Bought this yesterday.has to be a bargin.. I bought one of these new in the mid 80's.. Technics are the only tape decks i could ever get on with + they are more reliable than those overrat'turd decks that will remain unnamed ;)
