We have one of those gas fires that looks like a coal fire, we don't use it very often though it works well. Makes the room a cosier place, but obviously does nothing for the rest of the house.

yup thats the one i have. its not used now tho. chimney flue has a crack in it. also the coal floor is needing replacedQuote:
