YES!! The valves arrived so well packed I coud barely bring myself to open them. Honestly, my Christmas presents never arrived in such a fine wrapper! Great looking things, and I even had time to put them through my trusty AVO Mk IV. As advertised all solid. The Tung-Sol are the pick of the six, measuring pretty much identical which was a surprise given their age. The RCAs were slightly weak but I believe this is a characteristic of the 5691/5692 series, and another characteristic - they were perfectly balanced across sections, and a great pair). The Sylvanias were a bit different but both near new spec. All in all I am delighted, especially as I have a Sylvania to make a pair out of them with one of yours over. Perfect! I now have your three pairs, plus two pairs of Ferrantis (Mullard) and a pair of Brimars.

As a result I have no more excuses - I have to get a phono stage organized (well beyond me at the mo) to play with all these beauties. Oh the curse of audio!

Bought a beresford caiman from Bigmarty ( martin ) prompt delivery and and kept me informed all the way along. Sorry it tookm me so long to set it up Martin.
very pleased with it though :)

Purchased some Castle speakers from Steveh100 who is a complete gent.

Kept in contact all the way & sent them very quickly - Top man :)

Purchased a modified Beresford TC7520 from hifidelityguy which arrived promptly. It is in immaculate condition and came with the Caiman power supply and all the packing etc. Really nice guy to deal with and would not hesitate to buy from again.

Just checked out the Technics Sl1200 I bought from Roy S - bombproof packaging, deck is like new and in perfect working order. Many thanks Roy, you obviously went to a lot of trouble to pack it securely - and thanks for the Stanton cart - didn't realise you were chucking that in too!

I finally got around to replacing the Gator board in the Caiman with the standard fit board kindly donated to me by Bernie (Canetoad) and as I suspected, it was the Gator that was responsible for the distortion I was experiencing and the Caiman now sounds better than ever. Bernie did mention that he had updated the caps on his board so the performance improvement may be due to this. More importantly however the Caiman now sails through Elbow's, Seldom Seen Kid without a hint of complaint. Thank you Bernie, you are a true Gent... ;)

I'd also like to thank Dan (Hifilover) for the DVD's. Cheers dude ;)

Nice bloke who has an invite to listen to my 1210 when it comes back from the Docs (Paul Hynes). i can heartily recommend Martin to others, he's an honest bloke with a real passion for analouge.
