Hi.
Finally got round to taking a few pics of my studio/listening room.

Above pic is my 1200 which KAB fluid arm mod, Sumiko Head Shell, Alchemist Record Weight, Sorobane Feet, all this is sat on a homemade TNT sandblaster isolation platform. In the background you can see the new Croft Micro 25 that ive currently got on a home trial:cool:. Behind you can just about see my old Cambridge Audio 720P Pre amp.

A bigger pic of the room. You can see the Genelecs 8040 studio monitors that my turntable goes through as well as my MAudio Profire soundcard (PC Monitor is sat on top of it). You can also see that ive treated the room slightly with some acoustic foam.

The above pic is the homemade moth RCM i made earlier this year and the Knotsi. Ive found using them both together gets my vinyl completely clean in one go. Most my vinyl has been used for dj'ing over the last 15 yrs so its really dirty and needs a damn good cleaning before i play it on my technics.

I love my room. Its not the neatest but it serves the purpose. :)

Who are your biggest influences when you make your own music and what genre would it fall into ?

Music wise i mainly try producing breaks or breakbeat music. For the type of music im producing id say my influences are the Plump djs, Meat Katie, Digital Base to name a few.
Im currently in the process of trying to remix some old house tracks i have on vinyl in my collection.
To be honest ive only really been into the producing for around 3 years and in that time ive only ever manged to finish 1 track:rolleyes:.
I find it very slow going making music. I really enjoy just tweaking and messing around with software synthisisers, effects, programs, etc. Id quite happily say im probably better at the engineering side of music production than i am at writing/creating it:lol:

Apart from music production this room is setup for vinyl ripping which i do a massive amount of. Its also my PC gaming room as well and general escape area from the girlfriend:eyebrows:.

If you need an escape from your girlfriend don't even think about getting married!!!

:) Two RCMs, very nice indeed ;)

Looks like a tidy little room to do some music business in, where's the sub though? Those speakers can't be much good for sub 40Hz & that's where it's at ;)
