makes no difference to me, I always have your Yorkshire tea whenever I call round :) That's proper.
I don't keep coffee in since rarely drink it myself so it ends up going all hard in the jar. And it's no cheap.

Lol... Been sunny here since about 0730 but now getting cloudy. 17C.
Brilliant blue cloudless sky here this morning in London. Now starting to cloud over with white cumulus clouds. It has reached the maximum temperature expected of 22°C; which given the recent temperatures we have been suffering feels quite chilly! :lol:
Yesterday as we were leaving home the sky was looking like it could rain, and when we reached London the clouds were heavy and dark and it looked like it would pour down at any minute. It didn't of course, nor did it rain overnight. Another :doh: !
Where is all this rain going? Not here, that's for sure!

Forecast to be dry and sunny all day (like most days these days), but cooler than of late. Getting up to 20C, right now just 11C. Just 19.4C indoors, first time it's been under 20 since May.
Anita wants to get out on the bikes for a bit today, she's not ridden at all this year due to a knackered right hand (carpal tunnel). And I've only been out a couple of times. Must say I'm feeling a bit nervous about it, and nervous riders aren't safe riders.
If you do it, enjoy, as the weather is perfect for it. Excluding my exercise bike, lol, I've not been on a bike for about 40 years!
Dry and sunny in Wrexham, but a much colder start than usual at 11°C. 20°C indoors.

17c and sunny, should get to 21c this afternoon. Very pleasant walk with the dog to the car boot, didn’t buy anything but nice for a stroll.

We need some rain! Some is expected on Friday and over the weekend - we shall see.
Our next rain is forecast for Thursday afternoon but 80 percent chance so quite likely.

Was chilly and blowy at 7am, mind you, we're only few hundred metres from the coastal cliffs. Still windy but warming a bit.
Went for a walk and it's quite windy here too, although the Met Office reckons it's a 'Gentle breeze.'
Only 21.4C indoors, supposed we have to get used to that now with autumn only a week away.

Sunny and quite warm here, bit windy.
Just been out to Accrington (Accrington Stanley? Who are they? Exactly!) to a scrappy to pick up a replacement sliding door and passenger door for one of the vans. Cheaper than paying 90 quid for delivery.
Apart from the scrapyard, which was rough as a badger's arse, the bits of Accrington we saw were actually quite nice. Found a McDonald's for a Big Mac and a cappuccino and sat outside while the scrap blokes dismantled their van. Very pleasant in the sun, even if the people there looked a bit weird.

I read it many years ago although that one says 'volume 2' so maybe not that one. It has some anachronisms, like 'Jigger' meaning an alleyway which I never heard anyone ever use in the 18 years I lived there, and 'The Cazza' meaning the Cast Iron Shore which is long, long gone.
Dull here and doesn't look likely to improve. 20.9C indoors have had to put a fleece on. Probably means I won't feel the benefit when we get real cold weather, but what can you do?
Thunderstorm warnings for tomorrow and Thursday. Doubt it will happen, they just get your hopes up on false pretences.
You don't sound Scouse when you're speaking, but can you put it on if you want?:)

I never had a strong accent since my father was not from Liverpool and my mother, although from a very poor family, liked to try to talk posh - or at least without scouse accent, which she regarded as 'common'.
Although when stressed she'd lapse into Irish which was always amusing.
Got rid of most traces of it when working in telesales (who's going to buy over the 'phone from a scouser?) but I'm told it still comes through on certain words.
Well I was wrong, it's turned out sunny and 22C.

Well yes, electricity had only just been invented, and they were still looking for uses for it. Should bring it back if you ask me - even though its effectiveness as a teaching method has largely been discredited, it would at least encourage folk to go into teaching :)

Dull here and we just had about 30 minutes of heavy rain but it's brightening up a bit now.

Raining right now, and had quite a few showers in recent days. Lots of green grass coming through on the lawn, which is nice :) Quite warm too, 22C outside and same indoors.
26C at the moment in London. We are told to expect thunderstorms tonight.

Going to walk over to the Chinese for 1700 so it'll be saving itself until then.

But it was thunder and needless to say started spitting long before I got back. Real stuff didn't start until I was close to home though so only got a bit damp.

Coats for dogs seems to be a thing these days, you could probably get dog cagoules too.

It slackened off a bit so put on a waterproof and went round to the Sainsbury.
There's no flood at the end of the street which is surprising after 5 hours of heavy rain. I suppose the drains must have been bone dry.

Started with some forked lightning this morning then proper chucked it down for 60 minutes or so. After that, dry as a bone.
Finally over, it's blue skies and sunshine now.
Not here - still dull and grey, but the rain's stopped. I guess that will have helped a bit, but we could really do with more.

Full fat thunderstorm here now. About 2 miles away judging by the gap between light and sound.
Looks like nothing is going to happen until midday tomorrow.
