I've been using an auralic streamer to stream tidal hifi at a cost of £26 a month for about 12 months. Ive found it to have decent sound quality, but think I'd rather buy 10 2nd hand cds a month as to be honest, the playlist side of Tidal is crap and I find the interface hard work.
Spotify, however, has all the sort of music I like to listen to in convenient playlists that are easily accessed.
I understand Spotify can't compete in terms of quality so do I really need to use the Auralic or is Spotify the limiting factor meaning i might as well go back to just connecting through apple TV?
I could sell the auralic then :)
Would a bluesound using Spotify sound better than using my apple TV?

certainly dont require a top machine for spotify. its just mp3.. sounds decent tho and good interface. prefer qobuz to tidal and its cheaper too

Does Qobuz work in the same way as Tidal Grant?
Is it just the basic Studio subscription that I'd need for decent quality?

yup just same. better interface; maybe a different content make up depending on taste. you'll get a free trial tho

I've signed up. Cancelled tidal...

Straight away, the interface is better and it's suggesting music types I like more.
