FS: Sumo Polaris-310 Serviced, ReCapped etc.

decided that i need to move this on to make space for something new!
Lovely Sumo Polaris, not many good 240v UK ones about.
This was working fine, but as preventative maintenance it's been serviced and all the electrolytic caps replaced.
Nichicon Muse for all the ones on the boards.
And Kemet long life high ripple current ones for the main PSU, these are a size up to give better performance.
The bias and offset has been checked and is spot on, didn't need any adjustment at all!
Signal input cable replaced with van damme screened.
Mains fuse replaced with resettable circuit breaker.
Well over £100 in parts for the service, and only run 5 hours since!
All genuine parts from reputable companies details can be provided,
Happy to box and post if you cover the shipping cost about £10-£15 for parcelforce insured.
Not sure where to price this, there are 3 on ebay at ~£400 +shipping +vat +duty from US. And then they are 120v.
there is an unserviced UK one for £300, which is a good price, but then you'd want to service and re-cap it, making it £450++
i'm Looking for £400 which I think is fair.

Hi. Just an observation, the rear panel photo shows the mains as 120volts, has it been altered to 240volts? Or is it still 120.

It's 240v, the UK ones had a sticker over the 120v markings.
It was all curled up and was off in the photo, I've remade one since.
Still for sale as I couldn't face Ebay...

I'm pretty sure this was rated better than an Adcom GFA-555 power amp in a review and thats doing well, the service will mean its in top condition, love to hear one but overloaded at moment, someone will be happy and good compact size

Received the Sumo today. Packed really well and sounds great. I’ve had to turn my sub down a little as it’s driving my Snell E/III’s much better than previously.
