warmer than here too. That easterly wind is back and it's a bit nippy. Fine when the sun is out from behind the clouds, but that's not been often.

Overcast with a chilly wind this morning.

Woken at 5am by the cat meowing at me, as she came in through the bedroom window. How the fat little bugger got up and through that tiny opening, I don't know.

So that was me up. And I think I was the first person on this forum this morning. No sign of life. Like Tom Cruise at the beginning of Vanilla Sky.

been cold here today, supposed to get sunny in the afternoon - that never happened. Bitter east wind again, that carries on all week.

That wind is rubbish, but after 12 it became really sunny, so I lay on the lawn where the bushes and conifers kept the wind back. Just right :) Tomorrow set to be sunnier, I may even wear shorts

It was spitting here earlier too. That's another type of weather my Romanian friend is new to. She calls it 'The spitting'.

nippy to start but we had a couple of hours of sunshine before it clouded over again.

wall to wall sun for next 6 days according to the forecast but they said that about last week and we really only had one decent day as it turned out.

other thing is we're getting to that point where it's still broad daylight until stupid o'clock at night.

Went to bed last night 2240 it still wasn't properly dark. Always found it a bit weird this time of year, ever since I was little.

I suppose I'd rather have this than pitch black by 1530

I was expecting it to be sunnier and warmer than yesterday, but it was exactly the same. Maybe the proper summer will start tomorrow.
