If they are supposed to be so good, why aren't there more of them do you reckon?

Got confused I meant Pmuk, someone on the Wam has said the same thing.

Scarcity of the valves and difficulty of making them quiet are I think the two main reasons, someone else who knows better might know more though.

I've got a one off Ba valve based pre by Tektron, it's a stunner but I've put it away for years due to children and lack of cage.
